Are You Feeling Overwhelmed by Your Job Search? Here’s How to Get Help!

Voiced by Amazon Polly

The thought of planning and conducting a full-scale job search can seem overwhelming to a lot of job seekers. I can relate to feeling overwhelmed.

When I got engaged last month, my feelings of happiness and excitement were also met with stress when I saw the wedding planning to-do list. My biggest concern was forgetting or leaving out some big important detail.

Luckily, I’ve found a venue that provides a wedding planner, along with several other things to take a lot of the stress off my plate. My planner told me she’s there to act as my coach for all the decisions I’ll have to make. She’s also there to provide me with resources and to help me stay on track.

It was such a relief to know I have her in my corner. She’s an expert at what she does, which gives me a lot of peace. Thus far, she’s been worth every penny!

This is the same thing I strive to provide my clients with:

  • Knowledge.
  • Advice.
  • Resources.
  • Value.
  • And a little bit of peace during a stressful process.

In fact, today when working with a client to prepare her for an upcoming interview, she said, “Wow, I’m feeling overwhelmed because the job search itself seems like a full-time job!”

She’s right, and it should be treated as such.

But, I’m here to show her how to use her time and energy more wisely on the things that work, instead of the things that don’t. And I’m here to provide her resources and keep her on track.

In addition, I’m able to teach her how to improve her decision-making skills when it comes to deciding between multiple offers and negotiating salary.

So far, she’s been very pleased with the service she’s received. She said, “The information you’ve provided in the online courses, and the suggestions in our one-on-one coaching, are exactly what I was looking for in a career coach!”
