New to Nashville?

Nashville’s paNASH Announces Integrative Services for New Residents

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 22nd, 2016) – Passion and Career Specialist Lori Bumgarner announced her company, paNASH, will now offer relocation support through a new program entitled the New To Nashville Track.

This program provides a myriad of focused sessions meant to limit the time it takes for new residents of the Nashville Metro Area to acclimate to their newly adopted hometown.

“It can sometimes take up to two years to feel like you really live in a new city: what neighborhood you favor, where to plug in with professional and social networks, how to earmark city resources to explore,” Bumgarner explained, “I looked around the city’s landscape and realized that the increase of available jobs would create demand for an integrative program for these new residents.”

From 2010-2015, the Nashville Metro Area saw a 20% rise in job growth. That trajectory continues to rise right along with a 10% overall population increase and many businesses are increasing focus on attracting talent and professional workforce while maintaining low turnover rates. Large companies are encouraged to take advantage of paNASH’s services as an added benefit to internal human resources initiatives.

“Essentially, while many larger corporations can provide the jobs, many do not have the resources necessary to encourage those employees new to the city to plug in and find their niche within the community,” Bumgarner said, “the New to Nashville Track meets that need.”

She continues: “moving to a new city, starting a new job and meeting all these new people can be stressful. With this program, local businesses can provide a program to help their employees acclimate.”

Studies prove that happy employees are 12% more productive than those that do not feel supported or engaged in their environments*. The New To Nashville Track from paNASH will include support for job search, new job entry, relocation support, exploration of city resources and recreation, networking skills and many other integrative learning skills. This instant support system and increased environment awareness program is available for human resource firms, large corporations and individuals.
